*At BSides København, sponsorship doesn’t buy access to participant data or a place on our stage. Our sponsors support us because they believe in the community, and we’re proud to have them.
These are just two of the principles that BSides events are built on. We’re proud to uphold them, along with the rest: keeping BSides open, independent, community-driven, and respectful of everyone who contributes to it; from participants and speakers to members, volunteers, sponsors, organizers, and the wider community.
You may, of course, see speakers on our stages who happen to work for one of our sponsors. That’s not because their employer sponsored the event. Their talks were selected through the same blind review as every other submission, on equal terms and based on their merits. Sponsor or not, a place on the BSides København stage has to pass the CFP review proces.
